How It Works
1.Set Up Your Tryout
Name your tryout, choose an evaluation rubric (Quick 5-category or Full 13-skill), and define team levels — Varsity, JV, Practice Squad, or any custom grouping.
2.Register Players
Share a registration link with parents. Players self-register with contact info, position preference, and emergency details. Or add players manually from the sideline.
3.Evaluate & Track Attendance
Rate players across sessions using the quick-rate view — big buttons, one player at a time, designed for sideline use. Check in players per session to track who showed up.
4.Make Cuts
Sort players into Keep, Undecided, or Cut buckets. Run multiple cut rounds — undecided players carry over, kept players stay put. See ratings and rubric breakdowns right on the cuts page.
5.Notify Parents
Send professional email notifications to parents of cut players. Notify per round or all at once — you control when messages go out.
6.Promote to Teams
Assign finalized players to team levels, then promote them to real team rosters. Create new teams or link to existing ones. Players are matched automatically if they already exist on your roster.

Quick Rubric (5 categories)
Technical Skill, Athleticism, Game IQ, Coachability, and Competitiveness. Perfect for fast sideline evaluations — rate each 1-5 and move to the next player.
Full Rubric (13 skills)
Matches the player report card pillars — Technical (passing, dribbling, shooting, first touch), Tactical (positioning, awareness, decision-making), Physical (speed, stamina, strength), and Mental (attitude, coachability, leadership).
